1. Be reasonable. Life happens.

2. Give us a 24 hour notice for non-emergency cancellations. We'll do the same for you.

3. Communicate. Being informed is good. Being uninformed is not good. Becoming informed happens by communicating.

4. Parents > Children” While “Children > Parents” is an interesting sociological experiment, it has yet to work in the context of lessons.

5. Practice. Shockingly, folks who don't practice don't improve.

6. Seriously though, be reasonable. It's worth saying twice. Yes, we live in a time period where it has become fashionable to be unreasonable but let's do our best to make SDMAAC a bastion of reasonable behavior.

Tuition And Makeup Policy Agreement


1. Lessons are paid for in 4 week increments via autopay on the 28th through the 31st of every month for the lessons of the next month.

2. Missed lessons may be made up within one month of the missed lesson by dropping in on a group theory class, a group composition class, or a group art class. If the teacher chooses, they can also makeup a class.

3. If a teacher is to miss a lesson, they will provide a substitute or a makeup day. If a student is unable to make the makeup day, they may drop in on a group theory, a group composition, or a group art class with 24 hour notice.

4. In order to insure continuity in teacher pay as well as a held time slot for the client, there is a fee of 50% one month's tuition to pause lessons for a one month interval. In order to insure continuity in teacher pay, there is a fee of 50% one month's tuition to discontinue lessons.

COVID 19 POLICY


1. Wear a mask.

2. Wait for your kids in your car.

3. If your child is sick, #stayhome. We'll do a virtual lesson.

4. If you feel uncomfortable coming into the studio, #stayhome. We'll do a virtual lesson.

5. Sanitize your hands before and after leaving the studio. We have sanitizer in every room.
