Artist Residency Program

The San Diego Music And Art Company wants to foster creative exchanges with artists around the globe. San Diego is an international community, and we want our instructors, students, and residents to have exposure to a diverse range of artistic inputs. The San Diego Music And Art Company is a hub of creative energy, and we are excited to share our space with an international resident artist!

As an international resident artist, you will have access to a private bedroom and bathroom with a shower in a spacious, 3200 square foot home located in Ramona, California (45 minutes from Downtown San Diego). Amenities include kitchen, in-unit laundry, and hot tub access!

The San Diego Music And Art Company offers a 4000 foot 50/50 office and warehouse space with 11 teaching rooms and a full recording studio. Our warehouse has 16 foot ceilings and a whisper room for more sonically controlled recordings.

What We Offer

 $1000 stipend

●  24/7 access to our creative workspace

●  Room and Board (complimentary meals provided)

●  Basic transport to and from SAN International Airport

●  Gallery event featuring up to ten pieces of original work

*All other costs (travel, food, and otherwise) are the responsibility of the resident artist.

Artist Expectations

Resident artists will organize and lead:

●  ONE student workshop

●  ONE instructor workshop

In exchange for a gallery event, resident artists will:

● Create TWO original works for SDMAAC
